Goal
This experiment, initiated by Eco-Emballages and carried out with a sample of 4 million inhabitants, consisted of studying the feasibility of extending sorting instructions to plastic films, blisters and trays in order to improve their recycling rates. I therefore joined the Altriane sorting center in order to carry out this experiment on behalf of the Community of Communes of La Rochelle, CYCLAD and the Community of Communes of Ile de Ré.
Activities
- Performing 36 quantitative and qualitative characterizations of recyclable household packaging
- Tracking 12 collection tours to estimate collected volumes and time spent
- Entering and monitoring data
